Fibromyalgia Association UK

"This organisation is very close to our hearts as Dave's wife Carys suffers from this very unfortunate affliction. She has a great deal of support from this institution and makes the most out of life, when not dealing with the effects of the illness."

Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition of widespread pain and profound fatigue. The pain tends to be felt as diffuse aching or burning, often described as head to toe. It may be worse at some times than at others. It may also change location, usually becoming more severe in parts of the body that are used the most. The fatigue ranges from feeling tired, to the exhaustion of a flu-like illness. It may come and go and people can suddenly feel drained of all energy - as if someone just "pulled the plug".

Auschwitz World Heritage Site & Museum

"In November 2010 I had the opportunity to visit Auschwitz. I was genuinely surprised at how I felt during the trip there, what I saw and - more importantly - what I heard. The experience has continued to play on my mind ever since. The things I have learned and come to understand from this sad and dark part of humanities history has influenced a couple of tracks from our next album - which is to be titled: "Propaganda". There are many events that should never be forgotten - this is one of countless, but as opposed to some: this is something you can see the remains of."

The preserved, authentic Memorial consists of two parts of the former concentration camp: Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau. A guided visit makes it possible to understand this unique place more fully.
